Hadley is 2 months old

Well today Hadley is official 2 months old and that means her 1st immunization, which were not fun at all, but the little one is doing good. She has grown so much over the last month, it's wild. Everyone told me how quickly they change, but I had to see it to believe it. We spent two weeks in Wyoming visiting family and hanging out with her cousins, they really seemed to love Baby (HaHa) as Dashel would call her and I really enjoyed getting to spend so much time with Denise and being able to introduce Hadley to the rest of the family. We can't wait to get to visit again.
Hadley is now starting to learn about the potty which Brian finds hilarious because of how small she is in comparison to the real toilette. Who knows if starting this early will get her out of diapers quickly but I figure it is worth a try. It snowed for the 1st time in Yakima and lucky for us her winter attire fits her pretty well, for now that is. We are looking forward to her 1st Thanksgiving and her 1st visit to the White Pass even though she will be hanging in the lodge with Dad while mom coaches. The adventure continues...

One Month Already

Well it's already been a month and I can't believe it. Now that I have something to blog about it is hard to find the time to actually do it. Over the past month we have had a lot of visitors. Grandma and Grandpa Hanchett came to visit, and Hadley took her 1st trip to an orchard to pick apples. Then the Roach family came to visit and Hadley got to meet some of her cousins for the first time as well as go to the top of Chinook pass to see Mt. Rainer. We took her to a pumpkin patch to find her 1st pumpkin, and it is 4 times her weight and size. Russpa came to pick up Debma after her 3 week visit. There have been so many visitors it's some what lonely being just the 3 of us but we are all adjusting, we just miss our family. We are settling into being a family and attempting to figure out a routine that seems to change everyday.

Home from the Hospital

After a short 24 hours Hadley and I were realeased from the hospital. Brian and I got to bring our little one home for the first time, so far she does not like the carseat. As Brian and I settle into our new life as parents, we are in amazement that this awesome little girl is really ours. We have a lot to learn and it is so wonderful that my mom was able to come out and help us as we figure things out.
